Description

Module 12 – Sean McGuire – Hydrogen Park Murray Valley Project

About this Module

Join us for the 12th Module of the H2 World web series and hear ENGIE’s Senior Business Development Manager, Sean McGuire, present on the Hydrogen Park Murray Valley Project, Albury. Sean McGuire provides an overview of the project from its inception in 2019 as a feasibility study, to how it fits in into the larger picture of Australia’s targets for long-term hydrogen development and figures. Decisions on the project’s location with regard to the impacts on the success of the project and its surrounding stakeholders will be explored. How these supported the provision of advantages for reach to residential, commercial, and industrial clients, the opportunities for leveraging synergies with surrounding industries and organisations, and the economic benefits intertwining with sustainability aspects aiding in the success of the project. Sean McGuire will also discuss the role of stakeholders, including primary partner Australian Gas Infrastructure Group, with specific regard to the importance of early engagement with stakeholders that was undertaken and created relationships that fostered a supportive environment for the delivery of the project.
