Marcus Chan

Marcus is currently undertaking Bachelor of Commerce and Finance at Monash University, majoring in Business Analytics. With a strong passion for hydrogen and clean energy, he is driven by the belief that sustainable innovation is key to shaping a more resilient and equitable future. His journey has equipped him with a data-driven mindset and strategic thinking skills, which he aspires to apply in accelerating the transition towards decarbonisation. He is particularly interested in the commercialisation and scalability of hydrogen solutions across energy, transport, and industrial sectors. Through active engagement with the Hydrogen Society, he aims to contribute meaningfully to the dialogue, research, and development of hydrogen as a cornerstone of global decarbonisation efforts.

Dr. Saliha Saher

Dr. Saliha Saher is a materials chemist currently working as a Research Assistant at Monash University. Her work is driven by a strong commitment to translating advanced materials research into practical, scalable solutions that support the integration of renewable energy technologies within existing energy infrastructure. Her innovative approach to materials design has resulted in a novel patented materials for thermal energy storage, with aspects of this work published in Nature and recognised through awards for research impact, innovation, and real-world applicability. With a growing focus on hydrogen as a clean energy carrier and fuel, she is keen to advance materials-led solutions for efficient thermal management and energy storage in hydrogen systems, enabling safer, more efficient, and scalable hydrogen technologies for Australia’s renewable energy future.

Rohith Prakash

Rohith Prakash is a PhD candidate at Monash University whose research focuses on hydrogen technologies, particularly the behaviour of cryogenic fuel sloshing and its influence on boil-offs in storage and transport systems. His work combines numerical modelling and experimental methods to better understand fluid dynamics in advanced energy applications. He is passionate about supporting the transition to sustainable energy and is actively engaged in collaborative initiatives that promote innovation, knowledge sharing, and the adoption of hydrogen solutions.
