Hydrogen Links: QUT H2Xport Pilot Plant

About this event

Discover how electrotechnologies are transforming the hydrogen industry, making production, storage, and utilization more modular and scalable. This presentation will showcase the powerful synergy between academia and industry in delivering groundbreaking translational research, from QUT’s H2Xport pilot plant to our cutting-edge labs on campus. Learn how this paradigm shift is not only accelerating research, development, and deployment but also paving the way for a more accessible and sustainable hydrogen future.

QUT’s H2Xport pilot plant, a national award-winning green hydrogen facility, was recently honored as the winner in the Smart Energy Council’s annual awards in the Zero Hydrogen category. Operational since November 2024, this cutting-edge plant can produce up to 600kg of green hydrogen per month. Join this event to take an exclusive virtual tour of the Plant and see how QUT’s innovation is supporting the hydrogen industry. Funded by ARENA and supported by a consortium of high-profile industry and academic partners, H2Xport stands as a prime example of what collaborative effort can achieve in the green hydrogen research, development, and deployment (RD&D) space.
