HSA Surveys and Analysis – 2024

To better understand our communities, HSA runs surveys and questionaires on a variety of topics. Find active surveys to participate in and review the findings of past ones below. Often participation will be rewarded with discounts to events or membership, or other benefits. It our way to say thank you in helping us create the best hydrogen society we can for Australia.

Active Surveys

We’ve teamed up with 180 Degrees Consulting (180DC) to improve our membership experience, and we need your input! The 180DC team has created two surveys to find out your thoughts on the HSA.

They only take 3-5 minutes and to thank you for your insights, participants will go in the draw to receive discounted or free membership renewal! (students can answer both and enter the draw twice!)

Public Perception of Hydrogen as part of a Sustainable Future

HSA is investigating the public’s view and knowledge of hydrogen and related technologies. We invite both members and non-members to take part in a quick survey that will aid us in developing activities that will bring to the community.

Participants will receive a 3 months free membership. If you are already a member, you will receive 3 months (25%) off your next  membership renewal.

Carnarvon Workshop Participant Survey

At the delivery of the Carnarvon Community Engagement Workshop – Hydrogen101, in May 2024, participants were encouraged to complete a survey form to provide feedback on the format of the workshop, including suggestions about other topics for consideration.

The majority of participants thought that the workshop contents were well balanced and not too technical.  They also saw hydrogen’s role as an opportunity in decarbonising the WA Economy.  The overwhelming majority would support the implementation of projects in the Gascoyne Region.  The workshop was highly recommended as a model for community participation.  The vast majority would like to stay informed about hydrogen technology and activities.  The participants identified a number of barriers that are hindering the spread out of hydrogen utilisation, with almost unanimous support that more Government Support for hydrogen is required.
