About this event
Wednesday, 8 October 2025, the Hydrogen Society of Australia hosted the seventh annual Australia Hydrogen Day. This national event recognised hydrogen’s growing role in the energy transition, aligning with its atomic weight (1.008) as a symbol of our commitment to a sustainable future.
This event shines a spotlight on hydrogen’s critical role in Australia’s clean energy future, bringing together industry leaders, academics, policymakers, students, and the public for a day of presentations, panel discussions, and networking. More than just a conference, AHD2025 is designed as an inclusive platform to share accessible hydrogen knowledge, highlight the latest developments in the sector, and build vital connections across communities.
In 2025, four AHD Events were hosted across Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, and Queensland. Each chapter ran its own program and event while still maintaining remote connections with other states through online presentations.
