AHD Student Poster Competition

Australia Hydrogen Day 2026 8th October - Student Poster Competition details

A central feature of the Australia Hydrogen Day’s celebration is the national Student Hydrogen Poster Competition, running across a national pool. Undergraduate and postgraduate students are invited to submit posters that showcase their vision for hydrogen in Australia. You are invited to participate in this event where high-profile politicians, academia, industry, and families, including children from Australia, attend in person or virtually. University students (undergraduate and postgraduate) are tasked with producing a creative poster format work to express their visions and views of hydrogen.

During the Australia Hydrogen Day 2026 celebration, posters will be displayed for attendees and judges to view. Where possible, students are encouraged to attend the event in-person to support their poster display and present it to other interested attendees, this year the competition will be hosted in WA (if your local event has a registration fee associated with attendance, HSA will cover this fee).

Full details of the competition can be found on the Poster Competition Guidelines, Judging Runs, and Criteria 2026 link.

Note to interstate submissions:

  1. Arrange for the physical poster to be delivered to the Murdoch University venue WA, by 8:30 am on 8 October; OR
  2. Arrange and pay for printing at Officeworks, with the poster fully paid for and ready for collection by Dr Pouran Hudson by 6 pm on Tuesday, 6 October, at Officeworks Jandakot (WA 6164).
